Close Enough to Drop Off, Easy Enough to Deliver
Cypress Hills sits at Brooklyn’s eastern edge, where Jamaica Avenue runs under the elevated J and Z, Highland Park rises along the Queens border, and the cemeteries stretch north toward Ridgewood. East New York spreads south from there, across Atlantic Avenue, Liberty Avenue and Pitkin Avenue, down to Linden Boulevard and beyond.
The housing is a mix: two-family frame houses and attached brick rowhouses on the side streets, older apartment buildings along the main avenues, and newer apartment buildings that have gone up in recent years. In-unit washers aren’t common in many of them, and shared laundry rooms, when they exist, fill up quickly.
Families here often do a lot of laundry, and many people work long or early shifts. Some customers prefer to hand everything to a driver; others like coming by the store. We’re set up for both.
