We like to be straightforward about the process. Fold NY is a walk-in laundromat at 53-25 Metropolitan Ave in Ridgewood, Queens, and that’s where your laundry is washed. Our drivers carry Harlem orders out to the store and back, and our own team does all the washing and folding. We never send wash and fold to an outside facility.
Brownstones, Walk-Ups and Busy Households
Harlem has some of the most beautiful housing in the city. Rows of brownstones line the side streets between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Malcolm X Boulevard, Strivers’ Row stretches along West 138th and 139th Streets, and the Mount Morris Park Historic District around Marcus Garvey Park is full of historic rowhouses. - Next-day wash and fold. Clothes, sheets and towels go through our wash and fold service and come back folded, usually the next day.
- Same-day laundry. Selected ZIP codes can get same-day laundry service, picked up 9AM–12PM and returned 7–9PM. Your address at booking tells you if it’s available.
- Green dry cleaning. Church clothes, suits, dresses and other dry-clean-only pieces can go through our green dry cleaning. It’s perc-free, uses eco-friendly solvents, and every item is inspected and hand-finished. Turnaround is typically two days, with rush on request. Wedding gowns start at $200, with an exact quote before you book.
- Commercial laundry. Restaurants, salons, spas, gyms, productions and property managers uptown can set up custom pickup schedules through our commercial laundry program. Every load is ozone sanitized.

2. We wash and fold. Our driver takes your laundry to our Ridgewood laundromat at 53-25 Metropolitan Ave, where it’s ozone-washed, dried and folded to your saved preferences.
3. Delivered back. Your order returns to your door, usually the next day. You can track it in the app.
