Wash and Fold — Frequently Asked Questions
How much does wash and fold cost in NYC?
At Fold NY, next-day wash and fold is $1.75 per pound with pickup and delivery included, and same-day is $3.95 per pound. Your first delivery order is 20% off.
What is the difference between wash and fold and a laundromat?
At a laundromat you wash and dry your own clothes. With wash and fold, we do it for you: we wash, dry, fold and package your laundry, and with pickup and delivery you never leave home. Fold NY does both — our Ridgewood laundromat is also where every delivery order is washed.
How fast is your wash and fold service?
Standard turnaround is next day. Same-day is available in selected ZIP codes when you schedule a pickup between 9AM and 12PM; your laundry comes back between 7PM and 9PM.
Do you wash comforters, duvets and bedding?
Yes. Our 80 lb commercial machines handle comforters, duvets, blankets and bulky bedding that home and standard laundromat machines can’t.
Do you separate colors and follow care instructions?
Yes. Laundry is sorted by color and fabric, washed at the right temperature and dried accordingly. Hang-dry, cold wash and hypoallergenic detergent can be saved as preferences in your account.
Where is my laundry washed?
In our own laundromat at 53-25 Metropolitan Ave, Ridgewood, Queens 11385, by our own team. We never send orders to third-party facilities.
Is there wash and fold near me?
If you live in Queens, Brooklyn or Manhattan, most likely yes — see the neighborhoods above, or ask us about your block.
